Supper Club

My sisters and I were sitting around the pool, the summer of 2010 and we decided that since we were off for the summer (most of us are teachers, and the rest have a flexible schedule with work) we should get together at each other's house once a week and have supper together. We decided that it would rotate from house to house in order of birth (starting with my mom and ending the rotation with me since baby sis was still in college).

The rules of Supper Club are simple and finite:
  • The host of Supper Club would be responsible for dinner, dessert, and clean up.
  • If you (or your spouse or children) do not like the meal, too bad. (Usually everyone keeps PBJ or Quesadilla supplies for these types of situations.)
  • If you can't host/attend - you must communicate this to the rest of the family and make an alternate plan.
So we started in 2010 and we continue to meet once a week (usually Wednesday nights) and the dinners get better and better. Recently, we added my SIL and family to our rotation and they are a great addition. Each SC usually has 19 people to feed. WHAT a CREW! I am going to start keeping track of recipes from SC from now on so we can keep what we liked and not make what we didn't. I am hoping my sisters will help out!

Supper Club has been so awesome this past year. I now call it SUPER Club. :)
